Soil Type: LIGHT-MEDIUM, GRITTY LOAM. FAIRLY GOOD ORGANIC MATTER CONTENT

Phosphate value 8 parts per million depleted
0-9 = depleted 10-15 = deficient 16-25 = slight deficiency 26-70 = sufficient 71-140 = surplus

 

Nitrate value 45 parts per million slight deficiency
0-14 = depleted 15-29 = deficient 30-49=slight deficiency 50-99=sufficient 100-150=surplus

 

Potash value 360 parts per million sufficient
0-60=depleted 61-120=deficient 121-240=slight deficiency 241-400=sufficient 401-600=surplus

 

Magnesium value 230 parts per million surplus
0-25=depleted 26-50=deficient 51-100=slight deficiency 101-175=sufficient 176-250=surplus

By advising the soil analyst of the start points required for the major elements (refer Barrie Machin Chart), I was given the amounts of fertilizers to apply in order to reach the recommended levels.
