Lorna Wood
A pure white, hard petalled medium incurved. Performed quite well again this
year. Grown in 10 inch clay
pots
Verdict: keep
Joyce
Frieda
Delighted by the results with this cultivar, grown in plastic pots, high
percentage of showable blooms. Definitely one to keep hold of.
Verdict: Keep
Cornetto
Easy to grow yellow medium intermediate. Didn't performed well this year,
the wet season may not have helped. Grown in 9 inch plastic pots
Verdict: Not sure
Woolley Globe
Pure white intermediate, a bit loose for some tastes but one that I enjoy
growing. No problems
to speak of. Grown in the greenhouse bed this year, flowered for the later
shows, very tall.
Verdict: Keep
Carlene Welby
Good purple medium intermediate. Good size and very consistent for show purposes.
Grown in pots this year.
Verdict: Keep.
Millennium
A light yellow medium intermediate, performed well again this year. One
of the most popular medium intermediates around at the moment.
Verdict: Keep
John Wingfield
One of the best medium reflexed cultivars I have grown - outstanding once
again. The pick of the Wingfield family with
me this year.
Verdict: Keep.
Yellow John
Wingfield
A bit smaller than the parent but still worth it's place.
Verdict: Keep.
Pink John
Wingfield
A good pink sport from John Wingfield. Fair blooms again this year.
Verdict: Keep.
Peach John Wingfield
Good colour but slightly smaller than the rest of the
family. Did not show many blooms, always seemed to be something better
available. Will be a casualty in the plan to reduce the number of reflexed
cultivars in 2008.
Verdict: Discard.
Candy John Wingfield
Good colour , clearly distinct from Pink.
Did not show many blooms, always seemed to be something better available.

2008.

Honey John Wingfield
Good colour , clearly distinct from other
sports. Did not show many blooms, always seemed to be something better
available. Will be a casualty in the plan to reduce the number of reflexed
cultivars in 2008.
Verdict: Discard.
Salmon
John Wingfield
Good colour, lots of blooms shown this year..
Verdict: Keep.
Chempak Rose
October classified medium reflexed. Fine upright grower with deep pink
blooms. Fabulous colour and a high percentage of exhibition standard
blooms. Flowered early this year giving blooms from late August
onwards.
Verdict: Keep.
Purple
Chempak Rose
October classified medium reflexed. Fine upright grower with deep purple
blooms. Fabulous colour and a high percentage of exhibition standard
blooms.
Verdict: Keep
Red
Chempak Rose
Fine upright grower with deep
red blooms. Fabulous colour, good percentage of exhibition standard
blooms, appears to flower slightly earlier than the parent and the purple
sport.

Delighted by the results with this cultivar, Definitely one to keep hold
of.

Unsure about this one, big enough but form is not as good as the parent.
Colour is fine so worth another try in 2008.
