This page records events in the
2002
growing season. The first part of the page gives details of the cultivars being grown this
year and the dates on which certain activities and events take place. The second part of
the page is a journal of events and activities during 2002, I'll try to keep this updated
regularly.
This year I've decided to
continue with mainly medium
cultivars, Clapham Delight is the only large being grown this year.
I'm not sure whether this page will be of
interest to readers or not, some feedback will be helpful. Thanks.

Quite
a few cuttings taken now, all being given 5-7 days cold treatment before being placed on
the propagator.
More cuttings of disbud cultivars now taken. Cuttings from 16/12 now rooted.
Earliest cuttings now well rooted and moved into 3.5" pots.
More cuttings moved into 3.5" pots. Compost mixed in preparation
for next move into 5".
All plants now in final growing positions, final potting also
completed. |
