Joyce Frieda 13b Y, (Lawson/Woolmans 2002)
Second year of growing this cultivar, some plants were grown
conventionally, two up in a 5 litre pot, others were grown on the
break bud. Two good vases of five shown this year at Harrogate and
Fife Garden Festival. A small bloom with hard,
crisp, petals and good incurving form. Appx 4ft at flowering time. No
health issues. Still some stock
selection to be done but worth persevering with again next year. |
