paper covered These are very popular ties with a single centre wire and green paper covering. Packed for convenience in lots of 1000 in a small polythene bag. |

| Plastic Coated
Twin-core wire The ideal material to support the large bags that sometimes deflate during flowering time. For a full description of the method see the page on Alan Hunters bagging method. Two supports needed for 14x16 bags but one central support is sufficient for 12.5x15 and smaller bag sizes. This material comes in 600 metre reels. Protection frames Handmade, lightweight, flexible frames made to order to my own design proven over 20 years. Light enough to be attached directly to the flowering lateral for precise positioning. | Plastic
Twin-wire Ties These are re-usable ties 6” long (150mm) with twin wires spaced approximately 1/8th inch apart. Initially more expensive than paper covered ties but as they last many years they work out much cheaper in the long run. No need to twist – simply wrap around and pull off. In green or blue depending on supply situation. |

Pens These are Rainbow brand label marking pens, completely weatherproof. |

| Cane
Caps Plastic caps that fit over the top of the cane to reduce the severity of facial or eye injury. Also eliminates a favourite hiding place for earwigs! |
