| The 2004 Dundee Flower Show was held at Camperdown Park from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September. The chrysanthemum classes were again well supported. The new premier class in the show is the Scottish Championship - The Andrew Pinkerton Trophy - for four vases of disbudded blooms in four distinct cultivars. Three entries in the class this year from Dennis Morrice, Tom Buchan and Paul Barlow. Paul's entry of Candy John Wingfield, Millennium, Woolley Globe and Salmon Tracy Waller was awarded first prize and also picked up the Best Exhibit award. Tom's entry was second and the vase of Pearl Celebration from this entry was awarded Best Vase in Show. Other vases in Tom's exhibit included White Pearl Celebration, Salmon Chessington and Cherry Chessington. Dennis used Clapham Delight, Carlene Welby, Millennium and Darlington Jubilee in his entry. In the 3x3 Large class W. Martin was successful with Lynn Johnson, Malcolm Perkins and Primrose Chessington. In the medium Section the class for 3 vases of five blooms was won by Robert Jackson (Kimberley Marie, Venice and Peach John Wingfield). Donald Buchan won the class for 6 vases of three medium blooms with Pink John Wingfield (2), John Wingfield (2), Carlene Welby and Peter Jolly. Donald also won the natural spray class with Southway Sunbeam, White and Primrose Embee Wedding. The class for 3 vases of three blooms was won by Dorothy Spencer with Yellow Carlene Welby, Lizzie Dear and Peter Jolly. W Robertson was second and W Murray third in a well contested class. In the Exhibition Spays Eric Wilson (Penpont) was all alone in the 6 vase class, Eric put up a top class entry including vases of Enbee Wedding family, Oriel family and Broadway Mandy.
