Peterhead Horticultural Society - 28th September

A return to the regular end of month show date did not help in terms of blooms on the bench. Many growers were cut out by this time. However one or two did find something to make the judge's trip worthwhile. i

Only one entry in the three vase class for mediums, Paul Barlow used Millennium, Peach John Wingfield and Pink John Wingfield. This entry was awarded the NCS Silver Medal for Best Exhibit and the Pink Wingfield was chosen as Best Vase in Show. 

In the class for six vases of three blooms Paul was again successful (John Wingfield(2), Peach John Wingfield, Millennium, Woolley Globe and Carlene Welby). Dave Macfarlane was second with John Wingfield, Pink John Wingfield, Woolley Pride, Lorna Wood, Darlington Jubilee and Woolley Globe.
