Grangemouth Flower Show - 22nd September

The last show in the season for many exhibitors, and with some late flowers available the competition was excellent. 

The results of the main classes are detailed below: 

3 vases of five blooms large and/or mediums. 
First Angus McLean (Malcolm Perkins, Woolley Globe, Joyce Frieda). This entry was also awarded 'Best Exhibit'.
Second Paul Barlow (Woolley Globe, Millennium, John Wingfield) 

3 vases of 3 medium blooms. 
First  Paul Barlow (John Wingfield plus pink and salmon sports)
Second Robert Richardson (John Wingfield, Ada Evans, Lorna Wood)
Third Angus McLean (Millennium, Joyce Frieda, Yellow Egret) 
Other entries in this class came from Jim Hosie and Dorothy Spencer. 

3 vases of 3 blooms large and/or medium. 
First Paul Barlow (Salmon John Wingfield, Millennium and Cornetto) 

3 vases of five Exhibition Sprays. 
First Ian Turner (peach, primrose and Ruby Enbee Wedding)  
Second Clayton Carlisle ( Broadway Mandy, Primrose EW and Enbee Wedding)
Third Nelson Campbell (Enbee Wedding plus peach and primrose sports) 
Henry Haig also exhibited in this class 

2 vases of five Exhibition Sprays.
1st Ian Turner (peach, and primrose Enbee Wedding) 

The single vase classes were well contested, winning entries included Clayton Carlisle's five 'John Wingfield' and Paul Barlow's five 'Lynn Johnson'.

Best Vase in show was Paul Barlow's vase of  5 John Wingfield.

Best Exhibit was Angus McLean's wining entry in the 3x5 class
