Brechin Horticultural Society Show - 7/8th September
Chrysanth entries were again
a little bit thin at the Brechin show this year.
The main class for three
vases of five blooms was won by Paul Barlow (Lorna Wood, Joyce Frieda and
and Millennium). This entry was awarded the NCS Bronze Medal.
IAlan Ainsworth exhibit
three excellent vases of Billy Bell to win the three vase of large. This
entry was chosen as Best Exhibit and one of the vases picked as Best Vase
in Show.
In the class for three vases
of three blooms Paul Barlow's entry (Chempak Rose, Joyce Frieda and Honey
John Wingfield) was first, Dorothy Spencer (Matlock, Bronze Matlock and
John Wingfield) was second.
Alan and Dorothy also
exhibited in single vase classes.
n the classes for Sprays Ed
Mitchell won the three vase class for exhibition sprays (Peach, primrose
and ruby Enbee Wedding). In the three vase class for natural sprays
Tom Drever was successful. Unfortunately I have no pictures of the sprays.
