Tayside Growers of Chrysanths & Dahlias - 30th Sept

This is a small show held in the Kinnaird Gardens Association Halls in Dundee. This is the final early show in the calendar and allows growers to exhibit their last few blooms and discuss the successes and failures of the season.

The organisers hope that by holding a show within the grounds of the allotments, local growers will be encouraged to exhibit their chrysanth and dahlia blooms in friendly and familiar surroundings.

Exhibitors who were successful (and were rewarded handsomely with gallons of coffee and hot bacon rolls) included Jim Hosie, Callum Smith, George Christie, Bruce McLeod, Allan Weepers and Paul Barlow.
