Cultural guide from Roger Brownbridge
Root late February/early March

Stopping dates May 1/June 25
(late first stop to keep away from break bud on second stop)

Final pot 9"

Come down to 2 when breaks are around 9" long since not over-petalled as a late.

Tie in carefully since breaks can do just that at the junction with the main stem.

Will take feed up to calyx split.

Flowers early November (I would not expect to get it later than 7 November)
U.K. Regional Stopping guide
The dates we choose for stopping our chrysanths can never be guaranteed to produce flowers on a specific date for a specific show, weather conditions and other factors (such as garden aspect, location, cultural routine etc) will all play a part in influencing speed of plant development following the stop. The following information relates to stopping dates for producing blooms for Shows during the first half of September and are offered as a start point for new growers. Adjustments should be made for later or earlier shows.
